Atheists believe that there is no god, just like how normal people believe that there ar eno fairies, goblins, dwarves, etc. There is no evidence of fairies, but what if they’re just so magical and we cannot comprehend their existence, would you still believe them? If the fairies say abortion/being gay/etc. is bad, would you follow them and create laws that prohibit abortion/being gay?

That is beside the point. And why isn’t there a religion or faith in fairies and goblins.The existence of God is best found in the profound effect he has had on a significant number of people throughout all of time. There is no “faith” in fairies or goblins. But the existence of God is evident in the existence of good, the beautiful mystery of life, and the profound effect of God in all of history. (And I have a feeling someone might say religion has caused nothing but violence / hate etc. ) That’s humanity’s fault. Not God’s.

And personally I am against abortion because that is murder, and laws against being gay? God didn’t say you can’t be gay. God said you shouldn’t have sex with someone of the same sex. Gays can love each other and be gay.
